teachers & volunteers

Each class is led by skilled teachers who are committed to communicating the truth of God's Word clearly so that they might reach each child for sake of the Gospel. Each volunteer strives to live a life of devotion to Christ so that he or she can set an example that is consistent with the scripture being taught.

Each volunteer must pass a background check and be attending Lakeshore City Church for six months to be eligible. Volunteers must be active in discipleship and connected to the Members at Lakeshore to remain in a teaching role.

The teachers follow an elder-approved, bible-based curriculum along with safety policies to ensure effective teaching and the child’s safety. Teachers must also be able to clearly communicate the gospel to children.
