Senior Pastor

Pastor Rod has been a believer for forty-four years. He has served in various aspects of ministry including children’s, youth, prison, marriage, homelessness, men’s and pastoral. He also has over 35 years of experience in counseling and mental health treatment in the private sector. He came to Lakeshore in 2019 and was chosen to be an elder in 2021. Pastor Rod believes in expository bible teaching and has a heart for those yet to know Jesus Christ. Pastor Rod believes prayer is vital in the life of all believers and encourages us to follow the example of Jesus in this area. Pastor Rod enjoys fishing and spending time with family. He and his wife Graciela have been married for 20 years and have 6 children and 12 grandchildren together. One of his favorite Bible passages is 2 Corinthians 5:17- “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
