The first Wednesday of each month Lakeshore comes together in prayer. The night includes worship, devotion and a time to pray over one another, the community and the world. Scripture teaches that we are called to be "devoted to prayer." This is one of the many ways Lakeshore seeks to live this out and glorify God together. Colossians 4:2

We will also be having a Titus Two Ministry for Mentors and Mentees from June to August. Partner with another woman once a week for 10 weeks this summer as we follow the Titus Two instruction of women helping women in their spiritual walk and in their relationships.
We'll be using "A Charles F. Stanley Study: Exploring the Depths of GOD'S LOVE" which can be ordered online through Amazon or Christianbook.com.

This is an opportunity to help clean our kids ministry rooms in preparation for the upcoming school year. Please come any time between 8AM and noon. We will be doing a deep clean of the entire kids ministry and can use all the help we can get! No supplies needed, just able and willing volunteers!

Join us for fellowship and get to know other LCC women better and grow in your knowledge and likeness of the Lord as we study God's Word.
We will be using Jen Wilken's book, 'In His Image' to learn more about God's characteristics that we are to reflect as we become more like Him.

Psalm 147:10-11. God is not looking for us to be "amazing moms" according to standards we've set for ourselves. He's looking for us to fear Him and put our hope in Him.
Let's gather regularly to hold one another accountable to His standard for us as moms. Picnic lunch at 11:30 (pack your own), discipleship time to follow while kids play on playground.

Child Dedication is a time when parents publicly express their commitment to raise their child in a home that honors Christ. It is done in a public setting to acknowledge the importance of being accountable to other Christians. Parents can publicly thank the Lord for the privilege of helping their child learn to respect and love God. It is, of course, the hope of the parents, as well as their church family, that by providing this home environment the child will someday come to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Dedication focuses on the parents’ commitment to raising the child in a home that honors Christ.
Dedications take place a few times a year as part of our worship services on Sunday mornings. You are encouraged to invite friends and family to attend.
