Men, hear me.
The enemy is after your marriage. He’s patient. He’s subtle. He’ll use pride, silence, lust, work, and ego to drive a wedge between you and your wife. If you think you can coast, you’re already losing ground.
A surrendered man dies to himself. Every. Single. Day. He lays down his preferences, his comfort, his rights—because he knows marriage is not about him. It’s about displaying the relentless, sacrificial love of Jesus.
An immature man wants applause for doing bare minimum husband stuff—as if providing a paycheck, fixing a faucet, or showing up to dinner earns him a medal. Brother, you don’t get accolades for doing what God already commanded you to do.
A Christ-centered marriage is beautiful, but it’s not built on comfort—it’s built on a cross. And yes, the standard is high. Humanly speaking, it’s impossible. But with the Spirit’s help, it’s not only possible—it’s worth it.
She’s worth it.
Christ is worth it.
The Gospel is worth it.
“Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her.” – Ephesians 5:25
I love you men!
