Lakeshore Worship

lakeshore-worship-428

Lakeshore is built on a one basic belief, that we were created to bring glory to God. While the group has become known for “loud” music, lots of people on stage, and not wearing shoes… it really goes so much deeper than that. Each person that God has chosen to be a part of Lakeshore Worship has been selected by God for a different reason. Some are exceptional musicians, some are great leaders, some are heart-felt encouragers, etc.

The bottom line is that each person in the group understands that no matter what they are “good” at, they are nothing without the God who chose them. They also understand that God has brought each and every one of them to this place, for this time, and for HIS purpose. There are no “delusions of grandeur” in this group. The goal of this group is NOT to become famous, NOT to feed its own ego, the goal is simple…

Bring glory to God through music, through corporate worship, and through living lives in worship to HIM!

Lakeshore holds to the ideal of singing and writing songs TO God, rather than ABOUT God, again committed to bringing HIM glory above everything else. The songs that are written by Lakeshore are directly from scripture. Lakeshore stands on the fact that the Word of God should and will always be the source of its lyrics. Some of the worship groups that have influenced this team musically are Hillsong, Hillsong United, Jesus Culture, and Rock Harbor.

    Do You Love Your Church?
I love what Jesus says about the church. The church is the bride of Christ. He loves the church because the church is a place where we tell people about Jesus and what He did for us. It’s a place where we can share each others burdens and be a family. When you brag on [...]

    The Spirit is Moving
The word of God says that Jesus has ascended into heaven and at this very time sits at the right hand of God the Father. If that is not enough for you, according to John 16:7, Jesus sends us the Holy Spirit to live within each believer. John 16:8 also happens to give us the [...]

    Lead!
When we think of Moses, we think “Leader” with a capital L. The guy was awesome! It seemed like daily he would look to heaven and say “OK God, what next?!” And as another day passed, Moses would again look to heaven and say “How about today, Lord, tell me what to do.” Moses was [...]

Overcoming a Common Objection by Naturalists
I’ve been getting the same objection to belief in God by naturalists (this would include atheists, agnostics or those with a secular worldview such as belief in Darwinian evolution).  I wanted to post this short blog, just in case you come across this common question, to better equip you to give a logical and reasonable [...]

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
